A classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, intensely aromatic, this wine bursts with flavours of passion-fruit, gooseberries and blackcurrant leaf. The palate is dry, vibrant and tightly structured with a bead of beautiful small bubbles, balanced acidity and a great clean finish.
Gardo & Morris Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc is an excellent aperitif and food wine that will compliment shellfish, lobster, crayfish and grilled fish. It goes well with citrus-based sauces incorporating fresh herbs such as basil, coriander and dill. One of my personal favourites is risotto portobello.
Low intensity and lemon coloured with small persistent bubbles. A flinty nose with notes of mushrooms, gooseberries, yellow apples, grapefruit zest, a hint of caramel and an elegant autolytic fragrance of bread. On the palette the wine is dry, with a high acidity, a round mouthfeel and a crisp mousse. The taste contains dried fruit, yellow apples and physalis with a creamy texture and a sourish finish.
Gardo & Morris Brut goes great with shellfish and lighter dishes of fish with citrus based sauces, why not grilled cod on a bed of baby spinach and a lemon vinaigrette.

The nose is typically fruity with character of red summer berries, wild strawberries and developed biscuity autolysis. On the palate the wine has a vibrant, youthful mousse and small, persistent bubbles. The wine is dry with a refreshing, crisp acidity and a clean lengthy finish.
The Brut Rosé is perfect to serve as an aperitif or to combine with lighter chicken dishes, fried fish or salads.

An elegant blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon clearly showing the varietal nose of Sauvignon Blanc with gooseberries, passion fruit and fresh sun dried herbs, the Semillon portion creates texture and elegance to the blend with notes of lemon, honey, butter and the slightest hint of creamy vanillin oak. The palate is dry, vibrant and tightly structured with racy acidity and a pure mineral finish.

A classic Hawkes Bay chardonnay with a golden colour and great aromas of toasted oak, yellow stone fruit and yeast autolysis. It’s warm and full-bodied, with flavours of grapefruit, white peach, butterscotch, grilled hazelnuts and elegant creamy vanilla oak. This is a complex chardonnay with character, primary fruit flavours balanced with mineral and yeast autolysis derived mouth-feel and texture, a perfect expression of New Zealand chardonnay at its best.
The Gardo & Morris Chardonnay is an excellent food wine and will complement grilled fish with, fried mushrooms, pickled vegetables and a broth on smoked prawns perfectly. It also goes well with braised chicken, rosemary potatoes together with sautéed zucchini and tomatoes.

This wine displays mouth-filling texture and tastes of freshly picked apples, apricots and nectarines, citrus zest, pears, honey and a touch of beeswax is even starting to develop. In your mouth all these beautiful flavours combine to create a wine of luscious depth and roundness but still maintains a crisp zesty finish to balance the wine perfectly.
The Gardo & Morris Waipara Riesling is an extremely versatile food wine ideal to compliment almost any fish (including shellfish, crayfish, shrimps, lobster and crab) or chicken dish. The use of lemon or lime based sauces incorporating fresh herbs such as basil, coriander and dill will work wonders with this wine. It is also an ideal aperitif when served with Tapas and chevre it also works very well with Asian meals!

A classic Gewurztraminer, intensely aromatic, this wine bursts with flavours of rose petal and Turkish delight, with hints of lychee, fresh pear and quince. The palate is intensely persistent, with fresh acidity and a smooth, textural mouthfeel.
Delicious served chilled with many seafood and Asian influenced dishes utilising ginger, lemongrass, coriander, chili and coconut cream. Also fantastic with Scandinavian styled smoked fish or gravlax.
Lemon coloured and with a nose of delicious pear and tropical fruit characters combine elegantly with mouth-watering honey melon freshness. On the palate all these characters combine with guava and floral notes creating a rich and mouth filling wine with a refreshing citrus finish.
The Gardo & Morris Pinot Gris is an ideal to compliment Asian food, veal, chicken and pasta using citrus-based sauces to compliment the flavours of the wine. My personal favourites are salmon teriyaki or Penang.
A classic Marlborough Riesling displaying delicate floral, tropical fruit and citrus blossoms. On the palate all these characters combine elegantly with limes and stone fruit creating a wine of excellent depth with a refreshing lime finish.
Ideal to compliment Shellfish, lobster, crayfish and grilled fish. Use lemon and lime based sauces incorporating fresh herbs such as basil, coriander and dill. An ideal aperitif when served with tapas and chèvre.
It has a lovely aroma of fine mineral with white fleshed fruit and chalky characters from it’s terroir. On the palate balanced steeliness of the acidity compliments the fruit of peaches and citrus. A nice refreshing mineral edge on the finish.
This light and crisp style of Chablis is perfect to serve well chilled as an aperitif or to be matched with neutral shellfish, poached white fish or with the lime and chilli dominant South American dish Ceviche.
Pure refined mineral richness with white fleshed fruit and chalky characters combine with the slightest hint of fresh mushrooms and nuttiness. On the palate richer fruit hinting on peaches and ripe lemon, acidity compliments the fruit perfectly. A refined nutty elegance on the finish with fine chalky length.
This light and elegant style of Chablis is perfect to serve well chilled as an aperitif or to be matched with neutral shellfish, poached white fish or with seared chili marinated scalops.
The Pierreclos Bourgonge Blanc has an expressive, citrus fruity and round nose. The wine has a good balance between body and acidity with an oaky character, elegant and a pure silk like long finish.
This Bourgogne Blanc is beautifully matched with a wide array of fish dishes like grilled sea bass, poached cod with beurre blanc or a bouillabaisse. The wine is best served at 14°C.
A Riesling with a pale-yellow colour and light green reflexes, which displays a smell from fresh and juicy fruits. The flavours remind of orange blossom and decently of grapefruit. This Riesling convinces with its well-balanced acidity and its fine-linked mineral character.
Serve Prinz Von Hessen Riesling at 10°C up to 12°C, accompanied with lobster soup, fresh-baked bread and aioli. Or why not try grilled cod with a fresh salad and parsley vinaigrette.
The Johannisberger Klaus Riesling Auslese appears with a honey yellow colour. The bouquet displays apricot and peach aroma as well as floral notes. At the palate the taste shows caramel and honey notes. The finish lingers with an intensive aftertaste.
Serve Prinz Von Hessen Riesling Auslese at 11°C up to 13°C, accompanied with spicy dishes of chicken, why not try spicy curry chicken with chili and ginger. Also goes well with shellfish like prawns with a chili dipping sauce and fresh-baked bread.
Waterstone Bridge Chardonnay has a light golden colour with a nose of stone fruits, melon and toast. The Mouth is rich but elegant with tropical fruit flavours, toasty oak and a soft creamy texture.
Match the Waterstone Bridge Chardonnay with salmon and a crisp sallad, sweet n’ sour pork or creamy pasta dishes.
The Carpe Diem Chenin Blanc is golden coloured with a nose of citrus, pineapple, butter and spicy oak. The taste of yellow apples and pears with warm toasty biscuit aromas are balanced with a great crisp acidity and a round mouthfeel. The finish is dry and crisp with a nice length.
Roasted duck and pear salad is an excellent compliment for this wine. Enjoy it slightly chilled together with smoked prawns and other grilled seafood like lobster and seabass.
This wine is elegant and easy access, a delicate dry rosé wine, very similar in character to a fresh white wine with flavours of rose petals, and fresh berry fruit. The body is light and the wine has a smooth acidity with a great refreshing finish.
The Jean Valestrel Rosé is perfect to combine with lighter dishes of chicken, cold cuts, pasta salad Provencal or just to be enjoyed on it’s own as an aperitif. Best served in it’s youth at 8 to 10° C.

Ripe blackberries, dark cherries and black plums combine with the delicate perfume of violets and almonds creating a wine of exceptional complexity. On the palate these rich mouth filling characters combine with a gentle earthy robustness with a fine tannin core, which leads to a rich velvety finish.

The Te Mana Syrah is of ruby colour and the nose shows a rich perfume of violets, almonds, dark berry fruit, vanilla, cedar and freshly cracked pepper. On the palate there is ripe blueberries, black currents and fresh dark plums combined with a crisp acidity and great tannins. The finish is of delicate berry fruit, almonds, sweet vanilla and aromatic spices creating a wine of exceptional intensity with a rich velvety finish.
Serve the Te Mana Syrah with grilled racks of lamb with roasted potatoes and a gremolata. Also goes excellent with roasted fillet of beef a la Provençale with fried mushrooms and a lot of fresh herbs, itʼs a perfect wine for all kinds of barbeque.

Intense aromas of crème de cacao, raspberry chocolate sauce and coffee granules along with hints of hickory bacon and tobacco. The mouth is huge, ripe and full, with a balanced structure and gorgeous flavors of juicy mashed black raspberries, plum flesh, sweet smoked meat and mocha that leads strongly throughout the lengthy finish
The Diemersfontein Coffee Pinotage is in my opinion the most versatile food wine I have tasted, it is perfectly matched to the BBQ, it can perfectly compliment fish such as salmon and believe it or not you can even match it with chocolate and desserts.
The Saint Sauveur offers a spectra of dark fruit aromas like blackberries, black currant and dark cherries with spicy hints of black pepper and fresh green herbs. On the palate the wine has a good balanced acidity, a medium body and youthful tannins which lingers in the generous and astringent finish.
Saint Sauveur Esprit is perfectly matched with casseroles Provencal, roasted saddle of lamb with oven roasted parsnips or charcoal grilled steaks with fresh fried chips. The wine is best served at 18° C.

Dark cherry melds with bright, lifted red fruit aromas and hints of spice in this exotic 2010
Drink Ata Rangi Pinot Noir at 16-17° C accompanied with rack of lamb whipped with rosemary and thyme, roasted potatoes, grilled vegetables and onions. To this serve a lamb gravy seasoned with lemon and thyme, eat, drink and enjoy!
Waterstone Bridge Shiraz is deep garnet coloured with cherry and spicy oak aromas on the nose. The mouth is full bodied and fresh with flavours of ripe plum, blackberry, spicy oak and liquorice.
The Waterstone Bridge Shiraz is perfectly matched to the BBQ, it can perfectly compliment hearty stews and dishes with any kind of game.

The Wine has a rich array of aromas and flavours. Impressions of peach, nectarine,orange and marmalade intermingle with those of guava, passion-fruit, lemon and lime on the palate. Wild-flower honey elements are added by the noble botrytis.
Ideal to serve to a wide selection of dishes like Key Lime Pie with vanilla ice cream, rich, powerful blue cheeses with a fruit marmalade or pan fired fois gras with seared scalops. The wine is best served at 8° C.
A golden wine with notes of peach, honey and ripe lemons on the nose and in the end some saffron and spicy oak. On the palette the wine is mouth coting and rich with a crisp acidity, which balances the high sweetness. The finish is long and sweet with nuances of dried apricots and saffron.
Cyrpes de Climens easily accompanies a lot of different dishes, a classic pairing in Bordeaux is to serve your Barsac with shellfish. Foie gras and Barsac wine is a lovely pairing. My personal favourite is cheesecake on Roquefort glazed with apricot gel and a glass Cypres de Climens to accompany it.
The Jung Knobloch Eiswein has a clean nose packed with youthful primary aromas of tropical fruit, ripe apricots, lemon zest and honey. The wine is sweet with a crisp acidity that gives the wine its fresh mouth feel. The body is medium full and the intense fruit aromas holds on and lingers in the clean, fruity finish.
This eiswein is perfect to serve with a wide array of desserts like lemon sorbet with mango coulis, salty and mature blue cheese or crème brûlée with Italian vanilla ice cream. The wine is best served at 8° C.
